PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display received traffic information in a short time on a navigation map by providing a display device with a continuous processing means for continuously processing traffic information including the same area code out of plural traffic information received by a traffic information receiving means. SOLUTION: In i-th traffic information processing, map data corresponding to a required area code are read out from a map data base 2 and temporarily stored in a RAM built in a control part 3. Received traffic information is processed and displayed on a display part 4 together with a map. After the end of the processing, a flag indication completion is set up in a space in the traffic information, and the area code of the traffic information indicating the traffic information of the area code of which processing is completed is stored in the memory built in the control part 3. Then, k-th traffic information is similarly processed. Thus map information corresponding to a map mesh corresponding to the received traffic information is read out and stored and traffic information corresponding to the same map mesh is continuously processed. |
