PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make photographing operation and negative film, discriminating operation more efficient and to realize printing operation with high accuracy by providing a photographing camera capable of magnetically recording on photographic film and a digital still camera coupled with the magnetic recording head of the photographing camera. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the photographing camera 8 capable of magnetically recording on the photographic film having a magnetic recording layer and the digital still camera 9 coupled with the magnetic recording head 228 of the camera 8. Furthermore, the shutters of the cameras 8 and 9 are interlocked, and an information retrieving device 6 is arranged between the head 228 of the camera 8 and the camera 9. Then, the device 6 has a photographing condition retrieving mechanism, whereby the setting of the photographing condition at a studio is facilitated and the set photographing condition is easily recorded in the magnetic recording layer through the head 228 of the camera 8.
