PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter for a camera constituted so that the lowering of exposure accuracy may be restrained to be small even though two shutter blades turning reciprocatively bound when their opening actuation is stopped at a specified aperture position by an aperture regulating member. SOLUTION: The opening actuation of the shutter blades 17 and 18 is stopped by making the abutting part 17c of the blade 17 abut on the regulating pin 14e of the aperture regulating member 14. The shape of the aperture at such a time is regulated by line segments A, B, C, D, E and F, and the line segments A and D are the circular arcs of concentric circles, and the center is the driving pin 12d of an opening/closing member 12 fit in the long holes 17a and 18a of the blades 17 and 18. Therefore even though the blades 17 and 18 bound and are vibrated when the abutting part 17c abuts on the pin 14e, they exert influence on aperture area only in the actuating directions of the blades 17 and 18.
