PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set which copes with card reader which is easy in installation with an exterior card reader and a telephone set or wiring which connects these, surely reads a signal and does not cause erroneous operations in the telephone set dealing with card reader connected to a card reader to be used in a private branch such as a hospital. SOLUTION: This device is a telephone set which is connected to a card, reader that controls a call time in a private branch by using a prepaid card or an ID card and is a telephone set dealing with card reader which arranges an operation means for inputting a dial signal to a telephone set side and calculates call tariff, a call control means for controlling the calling time on the basis of the operation means, and a connection means for an exterior card reader 17 of outside which detects remaining points of the prepaid card or the ID card. The call control means provides a hook relay 5 between a hook switch 3 and a transmitter/receive apart from a hook switch attached to the telephone set and controls the hook relay 5. A shift register is made to temporarily store an input/output signal to the telephone line of the dial signal, and the telephone set dealing with card reader is connected to the input/output signal of the operation means and the call control means by way of photocouplers F1 to F8. |
