PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid disturbances on other radio waves, such as a global positioning system(GPS) without impairing the functions of the on-vehicle television receiver. SOLUTION: When an intermediate frequency signal is generated by a difference of a frequency between a high frequency signal received by an antenna 12 and a signal from a local oscillation circuit 13 at a mixer circuit 15, when the user uses a channel selection control microcomputer 14 to select a channel, where harmonics of the frequency of the signal of the local oscillation circuit 13 give disturbances on other radio waves, the channel selection control microcomputer 14 select switches 23a-23e, so as to pass through other video intermediate frequency filter 16b and an audio intermediate frequency filter 17b or the like to change the intermediate frequency of the channel.
