PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the reserved state of a program by allowing information which indicated the reserved state of a specified program to correspond to program guide information displayed on a display screen and displaying the information of the specified program on the screen in a display format which is mutually different by each reserved state. SOLUTION: A recording state deciding means 22c1 decides the state of a reserved program stored in a reserved program data storage part 22d2, and when current date/time measured by a clock circuit 22j agrees with the start date/time of the reserved program stored in the storage part 22d2 built in a data memory 22d, controls an external equipment control circuit 26 so as to transmit a recording instruction signal to a VTR through an output IF circuit 221. A discriminated display control means 22c2 displays information which indicates the reserved state of the program stored in the storage part 22d2, corresponding to a program table displayed on the display device in a display formats which are mutually different by each reserved state based on the decided result of the means 22c1.
