PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set with a voice recognition function capable of changing a gain value by an operation environment and a condition. SOLUTION: In this telephone set with the voice recognition function provided with a voice input part 2 for inputting the voice of a speaker and outputting electric voice signals, an amplification factor variable amplification part 9 for amplifying and outputting the voice signals, a voice recognition part 11 for inputting the voice signals and recognizing the voice of the speaker and a control part 12 for controlling the prescribed processing operations of registration, recognition, read, display and the like, based on the voice signals and signals from the voice recognition part 11, an operation part 7 is provided and the control part 12 controls the amplification factor of the amplification part 9 to an optional value by the operation of the operation part 7.
