The electric motor includes a stator (52), and a rotor (51a) arranged revolvingly in the stator, at whose outside extent a number of permanent magnets (51b) are arranged. The radial internal surface of each permanent magnet is convex in a direction radial inwards. The outer extent of the rotor includes a number of bent gap surface areas, which are respectively in contact with and/or border on the radial internal bent surface of the corresponding permanent magnet.
