<p>A deodorizing and sterilizing device, wherein a moisture-retaining filter (2) impregnated with a sterilizing water for sucking odor from a stool (1) is provided, odor is absorbed by a suction device (6) via the filter (2) for absorption or decomposition of the malodor components, a fresh sterilizing water is supplied to clean the filter (2) and the stool (1) is flushed with a sterilizing water for sterilizing. A dust-collecting suction passage (10a) is connected via a mounting portion (32) to a deodorizing suction passage (7) connecting the suction device (6) with the filter (2), a selector valve (9a) is provided to the mounting portion (32) to select a suction direction between a hose (12) and the filter (2) for addition of a dust collecting function. A controller (13) for electrically controlling a motor rotation for selection between deodorizing and dust collecting is provided to the motor (5) of the suction device (6), thereby enabling a single-device deodorizing, sterilizing and dust collecting.</p> |
