A spark plug for an internal combustion engine including a body (12) having an electrical connector at one end, a dome shaped electrode (22) having at leas t one semispherical surface secured to a second end of the body, and semicircular electrode (28) secured to the body such that the semicircular electrode has an inner surface (30) equidistally spaced from the dome electrode along a portion of the length of the inner surface. The portion forming an arc surface of the semicircular electrode, and a plurality of semispherical nodules (100) formed on the semicircular electrode, the nodule s facing the dome electrode.
