Preparation of an aseptic liquid from components of the woad plant and other herbal additives involves dry-blending 50 wt.% purified, comminuted woad plant leaves with an equal amount of a mixture of comminuted leaves of marigold, stinging nettle, strawberry, blackberry and balm (ca. 8-9 wt.% each) and treating the obtained herbal tea mixture with near-boiling water to give a herbal tea drink.
