The control of electromagnetic intake and outlet valves in IC engines to introduce the combustion mixture and to extract the waste gases from the combustion chamber is described. Each individual valve is switched open or closed corresponding to the engine stroke via a partially conducting electrical slip ring which is connected rigidly to the crankshaft and connected to an electrical control circuit.
