The tool has a grip containing a direction-reversible ratchet mechanism (F) with two individual ratchet gears (3,4), each with clamp bodies (12). To release individual gears from locking position, cage bars (11) of a cage (10) between the clamp bodies are displaced in circumferential direction, to prevent entry of the clamp bodies into clamp spaces. Individual gears and associated core parts (2',2'') are held axially non-moveable in the grip. The cages are move by a common switch member (21).
