<p>The invention relates to a tubular reactor for the preparation of homopolymers of α-olefins or copolymers of α-olefins and one or more monomers which are copolymerizable with these, at a temperature of 40 to 375 °C and a reactor inlet pressure of 500 to 5000 bar, the reactor comprising at least one reactor tube and the reactor comprising as inner tube a reactor tube and as outer tube a cooling jacket, the ratio of the outside to the inside diameter of the reactor tube being at least 1.5, and at least 10 % of the reactor tubes used having on the outside a profile with a height of at least 0.1 mm.</p> |
