A reinforcing profile for a fiber reinforced plastic shell has an outer surface structure of felt or fleece-like material which reduces tolerance levels and simplifies connection to skin. The shell structure is molded produced by vacuum injection or combined vacuum and pressure injection molding. Surfaces of the prefabricated stiffening profiles(1), which are placed longitudinally and transversely across a fiber reinforced outer skin, are covered either with a felt or fleece-like layer(2), mushroom or hook-like structures or have an area free of the matrix material.
