The invention concerns a method comprising steps which consist in: a) connecting a user apparatus co-operating with a microcircuit (44), in particular a smart card (38) microcircuit, to a remote server; b) transmitting to said server a sequence-selecting request; c) receiving in response from said server a flow of compressed encrypted data corresponding to the selected sequence; d) writing in the microcircuit memory a debit information corresponding to the selected sequence; e) decompressing and decrypting the received flow and transforming it into an audio, video or textual signal capable of being reproduced and presented to the user. At step e), the decryption is operated by means including said microcircuit used for writing in the debit information at step d).
