The method and appliance for taking three-dimensional films involves taking a double picture simultaneously with only one cine camera in a first step with optical aids. In a second step with similar aids the double picture incorporates polarization filters or color filters. The two pictures are superimposed on the projection screen to produce a three-dimensional picture when viewed through special spectacles. Both lens mirrors are joined by a gear. The two deflector mirrors can be separately adjusted by means of a cog wheel mechanism.
