The invention relates to a method for detecting an object which comprises the following steps: capture of data or an image, whereby image data are determined from a representation of a scene; and classification of the colours of at least one predefined object found in said scene to determine a perceived object colour. A mean colour parameter, which is essentially constant for the entire object, is assigned by means of a fuzzy control classification of all image points of the object to one particular colour class from a plurality of colour classes in a defined colour zone. The assigned colour class of the object colour corresponds to the visually perceived colour of the object in the scene. The invention further relates to a visual aid for carrying out said method. |
