A dispensing valve mounting assembly (1) includes a housing (2) having a beverage syrup inlet (36) communicating with a beverage syrup outlet (37) an d a first mixing fluid inlet (32) and a second mixing fluid inlet (33) communicating with a mixing fluid outlet (34). The dispensing valve mounting assembly (1) further includes a beverage syrup valve assembly (4) disposed i n the housing (2). The beverage syrup valve assembly (4) is movable from a fir st position that interrupts communication between the beverage syrup inlet (36) and the beverage syrup outlet (37) to a second position that permits communication between the beverage syrup inlet (36) and the beverage syrup outlet (37). The dispensing valve mounting assembly still further includes a n inlet switch assembly (3) disposed in the housing (2) which cooperates with the first and second mixing fluid inlets (32, 33) and the mixing fluid outle t (34).
