The spray hole (9) is provided with a staged diffuser (12). The staged diffuser is formed as a non-continuous, radial enlargement of the spray hole bore in the direction of the combustion chamber. The radial enlargement is formed as a cylinder bore. A circulating edge (A) of the transition from the spray hole bore to the radial enlargement and a further circulating edge (B) are sharp. Several spray holes are provided, and are equally distributed on the periphery of the nozzle cap. Their openings to the combustion chamber are located in one plane.
