WATER-REPELLENT COMPOSITION

The invention concerns a water-repellent (Rain-Repellent) composition consisting of at least a hydrophobic agent and a solvent compatible with the hydrophobic agent, said solvent being other than a fluorinated hydrocarbon. The invention is characterised in that the solvent is an organic compound comprising at least an oxygenated function and the active hydrophobic agent is an organopolysiloxane-type compound. The invention also concerns a disposable pressurised container containing said composition and an inert gas. The invention is particularly useful for eliminating surface water in particular on motor vehicle windscreens.
