INTEGRATED SERVICES DIGITAL NETWORK (ISDN) CAMERA AND SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM INCORPORATING SAME

An ISDN camera includes an imager to capture video images within a field of view and generate video data. An image processor is in communication with the imager and conditions the video data for transmission over the ISDN network. An ISDN interface communicates with the image processor and transmits the video data to a monitoring station over the ISDN network when a network connection between the ISDN camera and the monitoring station is established.
