Woven carpet is has two visible surface zones (6, 7) that form the patterning. The ratios of spun yarn (1) to continuous filament yarn (2) differs in each of the two zones (6, 7). Preferred Features: The different appearances in the two surface zones (6,7) are through a spun yarn (1) with an S-twist and a continuous filament yarn (2) in a Z-twist, in different proportions in each zone (6,7). With a pile carpet, the pile formations differ in the two surface zones (6,7). |
