POLYIMIDE FILM AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

An excellent polyimide film which is produced from a polyamic acid obtained by reacting p-phenylenebis(trimellitic acid monoester anhydride), hydroxydiphthalic dianhydride, p-phenylenediamine, and 4,4'-diaminodiphenyl ether in an organic solvent and which has all of high elasticity, a high elongation, a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion equal to that of copper foil, and a low coefficient of expansion by moisture absorption.
