It comprises the printing, on a sheet 1 of edible material, of an ornamental motif 2 which has been previously digitized by conventional computer means using a conventional ink jet printer 3 supplied with edible coloured inks of the sort customarily used in food and cake-baking, to which inks is added an amount of ethyl alcohol of between 2 and 10% of the total volume of the inks. The sheet 2 is made from a material such as unleavened bread or the like and, once printed, it may be applied as decoration for any suitable surface 4 of a food product 5. <IMAGE> |
