Universal bumper (fender)

It consists of a compact element (Figure 1) composed of a metal sheet 3, a cushion of air divided into compartments which form balloons (Figure 2), and closed by a plastic casing, which may be fitted to vehicles by means of two tubes 1 fixed to the rear part of the metal plate. It will reduce the effect produced on the vehicle and its occupants by an impact which causes the balloons inside the universal bumper to burst through the pressure exerted on them by the casing. <IMAGE>
