PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game ball holding device of a game machine wherein a service ball is finally held at a 'heaven' position of a game board so that a player's interest last long. SOLUTION: A holding section 2 is provided at the center of a case body 1 which is embedded at the upper part of a game machine, so called a 'heaven', on each side of which a decorative illumination 11 is provided, to hold one or more game balls. If a player depresses a button of a game machine, a ball- holding mechanism is released, and a service ball held in the section 2 is caused to fall into a spot near the center of a game board where a prize can be easily received, therefore the presence of the service ball serves to make player's interest last long.
