PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance ink fixing effect by bringing ink into contact with an ink fixing member. SOLUTION: An ink fixing member (a solid member) 1, a recording medium 2 and an ink layer 3 are provided. A contact face between the ink fixing member 1 and the ink layer 3 has a projecting and a recessed part (the surface of the ink fixing member 1 is roughed) as shown in Fig. (A). Consequently a contact area between the fixing member 1 and the ink layer 3 is increased. Therefore, when the ink fixing member 1 with a rough surface as shown in Fig. (A) is used, the promotion of an ink fixing effect is ensured compared to the case that the ink fixing member 1 with a smooth surface is used as shown in Fig. (B).
