PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure in which a cork plug can be opened with a light force even if a person with weak muscle force opens it irrespective of a main trend in which a wine plug opener currently available at the market is operated to pull up and remove the wine plug. SOLUTION: A helical screw gimlet 3 is assembled at an extremity end 2 of a main body 1 of a wine plug opener. A holder 4 is assembled at a section spaced apart by several cm from the extremity end 2 of the main body 1. A knife 6 is assembled at the other end 5 of the main body 1. A spring wire 8 is mounted at an inner side 7 of the main body 1 in such a way that the assembled parts can be lightly fixed when they are opened from the state stored in the main body 1 to the working state. When the plug is opened, a helical screw gimlet 3 is screwed into a cork plug, thereafter a hook 10 at the extremity end of the holder 4 is engaged with an edge part of a bottle and the other end 5 of the main body 1 is pushed down under application of a principle of lever and then a cork plug 9 can be lightly pulled off.
