PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank and a method of manufacturing a tank in which a water resistance against stored liquid can be improved and durability can be improved along with improvement of the water resistance. SOLUTION: A required number of studs 7a are protruded in equal-spaced apart relation at predetermined positions of a bottom wall 2 and a peripheral wall 4 of a tank main body. That is, each of the studs 7a is driven and fixed at the predetermined position. In addition, each of the reinforcing plates 6a, 6b is punched with holes 10 at positions corresponding to each of the studs 7a. Then, each of the reinforcing plates 6a, 6b is fitted and inserted while being aligned with each of the holes 10 and then fixed to the tank main body 1 with a fixing nut 9 by a pressing fitting 8.
