PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To energize a linear solenoid with electricity at a proper duty during subsequent duty control even when the resistance value of the linear solenoid is changed, in a method and a device for controlling the drive of a linear solenoid for duty control. SOLUTION: A control means CM is driven through charge of a linear solenoid LS with electricity, and an object TC, for example, a brake liquid pressure control device, is controlled by a control means CM, for example, a linear solenoid valve. A target current to the linear solenoid LS is set according to the control state of a control means CM by a duty setting means DS, and a duty responding to the target current is set. The linear solenoid LS is driven according to a duty set by a duty set means DS by a regulation means AD, and a relation between the duty and the target current is corrected according to a comparing result between an energizing current detected by a current detecting means CD and a target current set by the duty setting means DS.
