PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head for transferring ink to a recording medium or developing color well through simple structure. SOLUTION: After a thin film of heating element 3 is formed on a glaze layer 2, an electrode 4 and a conductive part 5 are formed simultaneously by sputtering or deposition and a protective film 6 is formed thereon. A recording medium 7 adheres only to the protective film 6 formed on the conductive part 5 and Joule's heat is transmitted from the heating element 3 to the recording medium 7 through the conductive part 5 and the protective film 6 is formed thereon.
