PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing device for casting fin, in which the removing efficiency of the fin is improved and the casting fin can surely be removed by eulargeig the energy for removing the fin and optimizing the cutting off shape and forming the device so as to save the cost and the possessed place on a driving zone, control zone and tool zone. SOLUTION: In the fin removing device in a continuous casting equipment of a steel, with which the burnt casting fin on a continuously cast slab 1 is removed, a fin removing car 5 carrying a rotatable piston body 7 having an elastically pushing-in shaving piston 6, is provided with two pinions 17, two gear transmitting mechanism 19 and two speed adjustable three phase asynchronous motors 20 as the driving parts of the car and both driving sets are disposed as specular symmetry to the machine together with the pinions 17 worked with racks 25 disposed on shifting rails. The two motors disposed as specular symmetry are connected at these second shaft ends with couplings 21, and this coupling 21 is formed as a fly wheel disk plate 27 and a propeller in a blower made of heavy material being light metals is used as the additional fly wheel disk plate 27 and the pinion 17 for obtaining the max. driving moment is formed with the usable min. number of teeth. |
