PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide elements to be incorporated into a device for mixing a gas stream flowing through a duct. SOLUTION: One or plural polyhedral elements 1 to be incorporated installed at an acute angle to the flow direction of a gas stream are arranged in a duct. The elements are formed by being provided with a front edge directed oppositely to the flow so that the gas stream flows freely around it as an eddying face. The extension of the front edge has a component extending in the flow direction of the gas stream and a component extending laterally to the former component. The elements have a trapezoidal basic shape provided with the two parallel edges different in length, the shorter edge is directed oppositely to the flow direciton of the gas stream at the incorporated positon and the longer edge is provided with an arrow-shaped part and directed in the flow direction. The elements are bent along three straight lines so that twoω- or W-shaped convex crowns are formed on both sides of a crown 4.
