PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey a thick card at a stable speed and positively convey even the thin card inserted erroneously. SOLUTION: This conveyance mechanism is formed so that the first pressure roller 32a and the second pressure roller 32b whose diameter may be larger than that of the first pressure roller, and which may be formed out of an easily elastic-deformed elastic body with low hardness may be mounted coaxially to be paired with a conveying roller 25, and the first pressure rollers 33a-38a and the second pressure rollers 33b-38b may be mounted coaxially respectively to be paired with conveying rollers 26-31. The gaps between the respective conveyance rollers 25-31 and the first pressure rollers 32a-38a are set so as to be equal to zero or more and lower than the minimum thickness of the thick card 1, and the gaps between the conveyance rollers 25-31 and the second pressure rollers 32b-38b are set so as to be lower than the minimum thickness of the thin card 2.
