PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely enjoy a ski jump by providing a running device main body which makes the jumper run along a rail with a handle at which a jumper grabs, a chair, and a safety belt to fix the jumper to the chair. SOLUTION: At a riding station at the uppermost part of a rail 2, ski boots worn by a jumper 15 are attached to ski boards 4, and the jumper 15 is fixed with a chair 6 and a safe belt 7. When the jumper 15 is placed under a starting state by gripping a hand bar 8, a running device 3 moves along the rail 2, and runs in a running zone. When the running device 3 moves from the running zone to a jump zone, the safety frame 6 and the hand bar 8 automatically lean forward, and the jumper 15 is placed under a forward leaning posture. and at the same time, the front parts of the ski boards 4 are raised by a fixed shaft part 9 and a vertical shaft part 10, and is placed under a backward leaning state. Then, when the running device 3 moves to a braking zone, the chair 6 and the hand bar 8 return to the original states, and the running device reaches a getting-off station.
