PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thick bed quilt which has a lot of bulk without increasing the amount of feather, which is used as an inner padding, and which is light in weight and soft, providing a comfortable bed. SOLUTION: Two pieces of inner cloth 4, 5 are interposed between a front cloth 2 and a lining 3, and inner padding storing parts 12a, 12b, 12c are formed by providing gusset tapes between the cloth 2 and cloth 4, the inner padding storing parts, 12a, 12b, 12c formed by providing gusset tapes between the cloths 4, 5, and inner padding storing parts 12a, 12b, 12c formed by providing gusset tapes between the cloths 5, 3 to make them placed vertically alternately. And, each of the parts 12a, 12b, 12c is filled with an inner padding 13 to form a three-layered structure wherein a layer comprising the parts 12a, a layer comprising the parts 12b, and a layer comprising the parts 12c are stacked one over another.
