PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new stick eliminating the defect of the stick capable of being utilized at the present time, or reducing at least substantially the defect, and especially used for walking with the assistance of a stick, roller skiing or roller skating. SOLUTION: This stick is provided with a shaft element 2 and a spike 4 fitted to the lower end of the shaft element. The stick especially to be used for walking with the assistance of a stick, roller skiing, or roller skating is provided with an elastic flexible pad 5 at the lower end of the shaft element 2, and the spike 4 is embedded in the interior of the pad 5.
