1. The method is designed for cooling down hot-rolled tape, that moves along a roller track during the rolling process, while the tape is cooled with cooling liquid from above and sprayed with it from below. Unique characteristics: At the side of the rolling track, the cooled tape is wetted with a cooling liquid, that creates at least one, uniform and continuous layer at the line of contact between rollers of the rolling track and the moving tape, that is being cooled down. 2. The device for cooling down hot-rolled tape, that moves along a roller track during the rolling process, equipped with an installation that feeds the cooling liquid, a set of upper cooling nozzles, a set of lower nozzles for cooling by liquid spraying. Unique characteristics: The device has containers (4) filled with a cooling liquid (5). The rollers of the roller track (1) are immersed in the liquid. The depth of their immersion is adjustable. The containers (4) are equipped with regulating gate valves (10) and regulating valves (8), and they are positioned along the line of the roller track. |
