PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element for storing a read out thermal image and a printer for printing an identical image at high rate. SOLUTION: Electrode layers 12, 13 are provided on the opposite sides of a temperature-sensitive element layer 11 having resistance decreasing as the temperature of a temperature-sensitive element sheet 10 increases. The electrode layers 12, 13 are connected with a power supply 14 for retaining a read out thermal image. Since the temperature-sensitive element sheet 10 itself stores/ retains the thermal image read out by means of a heating head, or the like, a plurality of sheets can be printed at high rate by applying the sheet 10 to a heat-sensitive sheet using a thermal printer. |
