PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical surface shape processing method capable of stably continuing to process a spherical surface lens of a constant curvature radius from the initial stage of starting production of the spherical surface lens. SOLUTION: A large number of processing materials are continuously processed under a processing condition of #10 = constant at the time when a relative angle made by a central axis 21 of a forming tool 12 at a central position of oscillating width of oscillating motion and a central axis 22 of the processing materials is specified asθ0 under a spherical surface shape processing method to process the processing materials by pressing the processing material 11 on the forming tool 12 having a spherical surface shape of a curvature radius irregularities of which are reversed of the processing material 11 to process, giving relative motion to the forming tool 12 and the processing material 11 by rotating the forming tool 12 and giving the oscillating motion in the tangential direction of a forming tool spherical surface to the forming tool 12 or the processing material 11.
