PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lamp base structure preventing a bulb from being excessively pushed in between holding pieces and reinforcing an insert-molded part of a bottom face part of a fitting. SOLUTION: A stopper 23 from a base 4 is erectly provided between holding pieces 19b of a fitting 19. Accordingly, when a bulb 7 is fitted, if it is pushed in excessively, it collides against the stopper 23 to prevent further push-in, and an upper thin synthetic resin layer of a bottom face part 19a in the base 4 can be reinforced by the stopper 23.
