PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent prophylactic and therapeutic agent for sleep disorder, obtained by combining specific compounds. SOLUTION: This prophylactic and therapeutic agent for sleep disorder is obtained by combining (S)-N-[2-(1,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2H-indeno[5,4-b]furan-8-yl) ethyl]propionamide, with at least one kind selected from zolpidem, zopiclone, triazolam and brotizolam.
