PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct shift of hitting position by subjecting the ejection timing of a print recording head onto a recording medium to modulation control depending on the oscillation of a carriage at the time of carriage. SOLUTION: At first, recording operation is started (S101) and the carrying speed of a carriage is detected by a detecting means (S102). Ejection timing is then subjected to modulation control (S103) depending on a detected carrying speed of the carriage with reference to an ejection timing data stored in an ROM. Alternatively, it can be implemented as a memory medium storing a program for realizing modulation of the recording medium ejection timing of a print recording head. Since the recording medium ejection timing of a print recording head is subjected to modulation control depending on the print recording head, the carriage supporting the print recording head, and oscillation being generated when the carriage scans on the recording medium, hitting accuracy of the recording medium is enhanced.
