PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beautiful outlook and a superb strength without cutting restrictions and enable a painting work to be performed easily using a machine by applying an adhesive in the center part of an intersecting groove and nipping a panel body between a weight platen and a receiving platen and further applying a weight to the panel body, so that the adhesive is spread widely by a pressure contact force generated by the weight and the intersecting grooves are bonded together. SOLUTION: When a wood cross lattice is assembled, a front cross support 1 and a back cross support 2 are not flush with both first and second surface respectively but the front cross support 1 protrudes slightly ahead of the back cross support 2 on the first surface and contrarily the back cross support 2 protrudes ahead of the front cross support 1 as a projecting part T on the second surface. During assembling, a little amount of adhesive 5 is applied in the center of the bottom face of an intersecting groove 3 and the cross supports 1, 2 are assembled and weighted. In this case, both cross supports 1, 2 are nipped between a broad platelike receiving platen 5 and a weight platen 7, so that the receiving platen 5 comes into contact with the one cross support 2 and the weight platen 7 comes into contact with the other cross support 1. Consequently the bottom faces of the intersecting grooves 3, 3 are brought into contact with each other under pressure and the adhesive 5 is spread to display an adhesive capability to the maximum possible extent.
