PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation body-placing base for placing a weighty large- sized container, a signboard or an exhibit at a low cost. SOLUTION: This placing base comprises a cylindrical shaft 3 provided at the center part of a plate base 1 protrusively in a gravitational direction, and an upper base 7 rotatably mounted parallel on the upper face of the plate base 1 and having a hole 8 for inserting the shaft 3. In order to improve the function of the placing base, a plurality of casters 9 are provided fitted to the lower face of the upper base 7 away from each other around the hole 8, and the casters 9 roll on the plate base 1 to rotate the upper base 7 to the plate base 1 around the shaft 3.
