摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of uncomfortableness relating to an occupant by ensuring of smooth startability and reducing of an HC discharging amount in a direct injection engine while suppressing an engine vibration when this direct injection engine is started, in a hybrid vehicle driven to run by concurrently using the direct injection engine and an electric motor. SOLUTION: A device comprises an electrically driven fuel pump 12, an accumulator 71, a start estimation means 51a estimating starting of a direct injection engine 1 by an on-signal of an ignition switch 58, and an effective compression ratio change means 1a delaying valve timing of an intake valve of the direct injection engine. The fuel pump is operated by receiving an estimation signal of the start estimation means, an injection pressure of fuel is increased to a preset pressure, also effective compression ratio is decreased by delaying the valve timing of the intake valve in the effective compression ratio change means when the engine is started.
