PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming apparatus capable of smoothly carrying out desired reforming reaction and readily carrying out miniaturization of the whole apparatus by simple constitution. SOLUTION: This reformer 26 has a flow path chamber 66 for introducing a fuel gas for reforming from plural introducing holes 70 and the fuel gas for reforming is fed to first and second reforming catalyst layers 38 and 40 arranged in a reforming chamber 36 having large opening cross sectional area from the flow path chamber 66. First and second current plates 80 and 82 are arranged on upstream side of first and second reforming catalyst layers 38 and 40 and the fuel gas for reforming can uniformly be made to flow on whole surfaces of the first and second reforming catalyst layers 38 and 40. |
