PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously and automatically peel protective films from many sheets of resin plates by thermally welding a transfer side tip edge part of protective films of a head resin plate on a rear end edge part of already wound peeling films and successively peeling the protective films of the head resin plate. SOLUTION: A succeeding resin plate 11 transferred by a transfer means 13 is stopped at a location of a stopper 14. When the positioning for stopping the succeeding resin plate 11 is performed, a protective film sucking body 17 sucking and holding protective films 12 peeled from a head resin plate 11 is lowered and the held protective films 12 are overlapped on a front tip edge part of the protective films adhered to the succeeding resin plate 11. As a result, a thermal welding machine 18 is lowered, a rear end edge part and a front end edge part of the protective films 12 on both of upper and lower sides are connected by thermal welding and thereby the connected protective films are successively wound and collected by a film winding machine 19, being peeled from each resin plate.
