PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid softening finish capable of providing textile goods with softness, slipperiness and handle, having high storage stability. SOLUTION: This liquid softening finish comprises (a) a softening base selected from tertiary amine compounds containing a 11-36C straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group or alkenyl group, an ester group or one or two long-chain bond groups containing an acid amide bond or ether bond, their inorganic salts or 1-6C organic acid salts and their quaternized substances and (b) a cross-linking type organosiloxane.
